Military Brat

First day in the new apartment, and I still can't help but think about what the hell I'm going to do with my future. I love my 2 video oriented jobs right now but I want to do something even bigger. And right now I need more schooling to do that.

The dream is to head straight to LA or New York and work my way up but the problem is I feel that I'm not ready and don't know the right people yet. It sucks but networking is such a huge part of this career path I've chosen. That's why I've been wanting to jump into a graduate school closer to those areas that could take me and ease me into the atmosphere. But then there's the whole problem of paying for this additional schooling.

Soooo I've been looking into various video-oriented jobs with the military and it sounds pretty enticing. I'm almost to the point where I want to set up a meeting with a recruiter just to hear what they have to say regarding their knowledge of the subject.

But besides the decent pay, which I need to go freelance in the future, and the help with graduate school, I'm also drawn to it because of my love of traveling. Then again, as exciting as being an Army MOS 25V Combat Documentation/Production Specialist sounds, I'll most likely be taking pictures for these soldiers' military ID's in some dark corner in an unknown town, but hey, who knows? There's still that chance of new discovery... right?

Only problem is, then I'll have to get in shape... ugggggh.

Oh, and by the way, I don't have efficient interwebs at the new apartment yet so I'll most likely be skipping a few of these... not that anyone is even reading. But anyways...

TODAY'S TASTY TRACK
For those who enjoy: Classic Rock (60's/70's)

Paul & Linda McCartney
"Monkberry Moondelight"
Come on, you knew it wouldn't be long until I praised a Beatle. I love this looked-over song in every way possible. This comes from the great 1971 album "Ram".

-If you enjoy this track then follow it up with... just about anything else by any of The Beatles.
